St. Etchen’s National School
A new extension to St. Etchen’s National School comprising of 8 new classrooms in a two storey building with ancillary rooms including a new GP hall, staff room, office and link corridor to the existing 8 classroom school.
The existing school was refurbished in phase 2 after the new building was handed over. The development included two new ballcourts and extensive car parking and set down areas.
Design of the school commenced in 2001 but due to budgetary constraints in the Department of Education & Skills the project did not go to tender until 2013.
The project was completed in 2015
