The Malthouse, Roscrea

This old Stone Malthouse in the heritage town of Roscrea was converted into six self contained apartments/townhouses and two self contained offices suites. The original building was in a semi-derelict condition with only the roof structure and external walls to be retained.

The roof was stripped and re-slated and all new window and door opes were created in the existing walls. Internally the first floor Kitchen/living rooms have sloped timber ceilings and hardwood floors.

The project was completed in October 1997 at a cost of €210,000
