Offaly V.E.C. New Office Fit—Out

Following completion of a feasibility study and assessment of office locations Offaly V.E.C. commissioned Kenny Lyons + Associates to design and administer the fitout of their new County Offices at Castle Buildings, Tullamore.

The 774sq.m. space provided by the shell developers was an attractive bright open plan space and the design solution for the fit-out was to retain maximum light penetration to the centre of the area with glazed screens to perimeter offices. A circular enclosure houses the reception and file storage area and acts as a buffer between public and private areas.

The project was completed in 2008 at a cost of €650,000.
