New Clubhouse, Moate Golf Club
The new Clubhouse at Moate Golf Club was constructed on a greenfield site adjacent to the disused Moate railway station. The building replaces the original temporary structure to the other side of the Golf Course. The site is a low flat site and the course itself is very flat. The new building is two storey with the bars and dining areas in the first floor roof space with viewing balconies overlooking the golf course. Locker rooms, toilets and meeting rooms are located at ground level with space available for a future pro-shop.
The project was completed in September 1997 at a cost of €635,000
